Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry, Florida's largest Sedation Dentistry Provider, is currently searching for an HR Manager. Our privately owned company is made up of 12 dental office locations and a support center and employs roughly 130 staff members ranging from clinical to administrative. This is an in office position in our Support Center located in Seminole, Florida. As our owner, Dr. Monticciolo says, we provide hope to the fearful. Sedation dentistry allows us to serve patients that would otherwise be underserved. Our company was started in 2010 but Dr. Monticciolo has been practicing in the area for over 25 years. Our company places a lot of importance on culture and we work hard to retain who we are and maintain that positive culture even during fast growth.

- Completes onboarding paperwork and process for all new hires such as background and drug screenings, onboard tracking and communications prior to start.
- Lead and oversee all HR functions for our dental practice, including managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR policies and programs.
- Leading company LMS initiatives
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Implement performance management and recognition programs to enhance employee performance and motivation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide support to employees with any benefits-related questions or concerns
- Assists all new hires in monthly benefit enrollment, distribute materials for benefits orientation, along with the open enrollment period
- Process and administer all Workers’ Compensation injuries and documentation
- Support in daily processing of benefits transactions such as enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, distributions, compliance testing, and billing reconciliation
- Monitor the company’s benefit portal
- Serve as contact for carriers and third-party plan administrators. Coordinate transfer of data to external contracts for services, premiums and plan administration
- Additional projects and/or responsibilities as assigned.
- Completes new hire referral bonuses
- Completes and audits weekly new hire and termination reports
- Completes requested reports from department managers
- Process I-9s and E-Verify for new employees
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate benefit programs to all levels of the organization
- Compliant with all State, and IRS reporting
- Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Capability of effective planning and priority setting
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and OSHA a must
- Experience leading employee engagement, performance management, and talent development programs
- Ability to manage a diversified workforce.
- Ability to work in a growing environment as it relates to infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA and FMLA
- Ability to identify trends and provide solutions to enhance plan performance and satisfaction
- Ability to project manage
- Ability to manage contracted vendors
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years HR experience, prior dental experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification also preferred.
- Required 1-2 year(s) experience within an HR environment with direct hands on experience in workers’ compensation, benefits, and wellness preferred.
