Tire and Lube Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, primarily focusing on oil changes and other fluid services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive care, ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and fluid replacements on various types of vehicles.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during service operations.
• Assist in aligning vehicles as needed, ensuring proper handling and performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Lift heavy components as necessary while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic in an automotive setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, including oil change procedures.
• Proficient in using power tools and equipment relevant to vehicle servicing.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
