We have offices throughout CO and WY with over 30 scientists, biologists, and engineers with a combined 230 years of experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE
Our Arvada, CO office is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist for stormwater inspections to support oil and gas projects in the northeastern front range of Colorado and potentially other areas (UT, WY, NM, & TX).
Compensation (hourly pay signing bonus), plus eligible for overtime!

Our Arvada, CO office is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist for stormwater inspections to support oil and gas projects in the northeastern front range of Colorado and potentially other areas (UT, WY, NM, & TX).
Compensation (hourly pay signing bonus), plus eligible for overtime!
- Hourly pay: $21-$23, based on relevant experience.
- Signing Bonus: $1,500, based on start date (to be discussed in interview)
- Perform site inspections for stormwater (SW) compliance including evaluating control measures and stabilization.
- Perform site inspections for SPCC compliance including equipment or berm measurements.
- Conduct SW control measure repairs.
- Compile SW and SPCC reports and Visio drawings.
- Provide daily reports that include field notes and photographs of sampling locations.
- Care for and maintenance of field equipment.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Travel in a company vehicle to oil and gas locations in northeastern CO.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Safety conscious and continually assess ways to mitigate hazards.
- Ability to carry 40 pounds.
- Ability to walk up to three miles per day (typical days require less than one mile of walking).
- Physical ability to perform outdoor field work in remote settings year-round.
- Ability to safely drive in adverse conditions (e.g., 4x4 roads, snow, mud, dirt roads).
- Effective communication skills with teams and managers.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stay positive and effective during long and physically challenging days in the field.
- Experience with stormwater inspections.
- Experience working in field conditions.
- Experience collecting field notes on digital survey platforms (Survey123, Field Maps).
- Experience driving in remote locations using 4x4 vehicles.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or another related field (desired but not required).
