We are currently seeking a Shop Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and designated areas, including , shop floor, break, and common areas and exterior
- Sweep, and mop
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors
- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
- Assist with cleaning, moving, and organizing shop parts carts
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices
