Job Details
Job Title : Echo Tech
Job Overview : The Cardiac Sonographer should be able to perform a variety of transthoracic, exercise stress, dobutamine echocardiogram, carotid, venous, and arterial studies within the laboratory.
Essential Functions : Performs transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams, stress echocardiograms, prepares preliminary interpretation of studies, assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) exams, maintains equipment, and provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
Job Requirements
Education : RDCS registered
BLS certified required; ACLS preferred
Prefer one-year experience but not mandatory
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Schedule Information
Days : 0800 – 1700
Weekend : Call 4 Hours on Call 0700 - 1100 on Saturday and Sunday
Holiday : As required
