An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School seeks a full-time, experienced teacher of English to join our professional learning community beginning August 2025. A successful candidate will be passionate about the study of literature and the ideas that animate authors' works, facile in teaching writing, and eager to develop deep thinkers and thorough scholars. We seek teachers who are passionate about their subjects and dedicated to guide students in strong academic habits and are committed to collaborating, reflecting and growing in their teaching practice. Strong applicants will have an advanced degree, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for an independent school environment and an all-girls’ education.
