Job Title: Septic Tank Driver/Technician

Job Outline:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Septic Tank Driver/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a physically demanding role, handling a variety of tasks, and working in potentially challenging environments. This position requires both driving and technical responsibilities, including the maintenance and cleaning of septic tanks, filter systems, and other related services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a septic tank service truck (manual and automatic transmissions) to various job sites, safely and efficiently.
• Perform septic tank and filter cleanings, ensuring the proper disposal of waste.
• Take before and after photos to document the work completed.
• Assist in the setup and operation of equipment for each job.
• Work with an assistant or as part of a team to complete tasks effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure the truck and equipment are properly maintained.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns as necessary.

Requirements:

• Class A CDL license preferred. A Class B CDL license may be acceptable depending on truck availability.
• Ability to withstand hot weather conditions and strong odors (such as grease and septic).
• Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
• Ability to perform lateral work (e.g., moving, adjusting equipment, etc.).
• Must be comfortable working with an assistant in certain situations.
• Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required. Must be able to use a communication device if necessary to understand and communicate with team members or clients.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.

Working Conditions:

• The work environment can involve exposure to hot temperatures and strong odors.
• Some jobs may require working in confined spaces or rough outdoor conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
