Main Responsibilities:
- Manage lab instruments and testing reagents for raw material, manufacturing, finished product and customer specification processes.
- Develop and implement analytical methods and analyses.
- Maintain instrumentation needed to support site needs.
- Support implementation of analysis for new products.
- Drive continual improvement of quality management systems (ISO and SQF).
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology or equivalent science.
- 5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with lab instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good organization, time management, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to master specific product/process and equipment knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for long periods of time in a chemistry laboratory environment.
