What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Manager position at Monument Health Brigham City?
The Dietary Manager works under the direction of the Executive Director and is an active member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team. The Dietary Manager is responsible for all aspects of budgeting, purchasing, storage, preparation and service of dietary therapeutic resident meals. The Dietary Manager ensures that all required documentation for the Dietary Department, resident care plan and MDS records. The Dietary Manager supervises and schedules all Cooks and Dietary Aides.

Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a dietary management role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and health.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to food service operations.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
- Skills in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic evaluation related to dietary needs.
- Background in health coaching is a plus, enhancing the ability to guide residents towards healthier lifestyle choices.
