What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook MH South Salt Lake Hourly position at Monument Health South Salt Lake, LLC?
The Cook works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and is responsible for the safe and timely preparation of food in accordance with the established facility menu. The Cook shall prepare the food in and sanitary and safe manor in accordance with food safety standards along with federal and state guidelines as it pertains to food preparation. The cook is also responsible for the preparation of appetizing food that adheres to the dietary budget.
> Food Handler’s Permit in Required Counties
> Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
> Tuberculosis Testing
> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)
> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds
> Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English
