What are the responsibilities and job description for the Xray tech position at Monument Imaging?
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
- Uses equipment in compliance with all safety requirements.
- Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.
- Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- DEXA experience is not required, but a plus.
- Level II Background Screening
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active State License and current ARRT certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
