We are a well-established headstone manufacturing company located in Elberton, GA, seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Associate. This position involves packaging, labeling, and shipment of headstones to ensure accurate and timely delivery to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Use computers, emails, spreadsheets and print reports
- Uncrate and crate granite products for shipment through UPS and LTL carriers.
- Use overhead cranes.
- Use forklifts to load and unload shipments, organize inventory
- Maintain, clean and organize the work area.
Qualifications:
- College degree
- Should be dependable, report on-time and every day
- Should pass initial and ongoing surprise drug, alcohol tests and a background check
- Should be able to adhere to strict non-smoking work environment policy
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy loads of around 70 lbs
- Basic computer skills
