The associate will manage a diverse caseload from inception to completion, working closely with a supervising shareholder. Industries include transportation, energy, environmental, construction, healthcare, maritime and more. Hybrid / remote schedule available.
Must haves
- Texas Bar license, in good standing
- 1-3 years civil / federal defense litigation and / or insurance coverage and defense; inhouse insurance litigation experience a plus
- Experience in court hearings, depositions, and mediation
- Ability to draft discovery and develop and a discovery plan
- Draft motions, settlement documents and briefs
