Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
In-Store Marketplace (ISM) Data team is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with proven experience supporting various business lines in a modern BI environment. You'll partner with our Advertising Operations, Finance and Engineering teams to ensure accurate build-out and support for various data sources and dashboards that drive ISM’s growth. While the focus of this role is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards and guidelines and procedures, you'll also be empowered to take ownership of the entire BI stack and model raw data sets into highly curated, trusted data sources. This Senior BI Analyst will deliver on the team's product strategy while evolving the data platform. A successful Senior BI Analyst will enjoy achieving goals consistently and efficiently by working thoroughly in a cooperative and supportive environment. This is an in office position in our Fishers, IN location
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and maintain data sources and dashboards in Tableau, with emphasis on refresh efficiency and workbook usability
Use your data knowledge to develop new data assets and maintain pipelines that adhere to existing ELT patterns and product initiatives
Implement best practices and standards for delivery of reports to multiple partners
Establish rapport with business owners and external partners
Support ISM’s need for high quality assurance and identify/resolve any data discrepancies in 1st and 3rd party system
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4 or more years of Tableau development and business analytics support within a high growth organization; Tableau certification preferred
Computer Science, or Informatics degree (or equivalent work experience)
Demonstrated capabilities in translating business needs into effective dashboard products through monitoring, testing, and automation
Expert level dashboarding with emphasis on data quality monitoring
Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders and concisely present results to executive leadership and external partners
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with data modeling in cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, AWS, or BigQuery)
Highly proficient in SQL with ability to debug and optimize queries
Experience building scalable analytics solutions in an ecommerce or omni-channel organization
Familiarity with NoSQL, high throughput production systems
Familiarity with ETL transformation tools (Stitcher, Airflow, Fivetran, Data Build Tool)
Experience with Git workflow
Reverse ETL workflows
Strong data modeling and documentation experience
Comfortable developing and owning financial data assets
