The incumbent is expected to exercise sound, reasonable judgment and initiative, and give high priority to accuracy and details in the performance of job responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Must demonstrate courtesy and efficiency at all times
- Answer all inquiries with courtesy, knowledge, and respect for all guest, employees, and supervisors
- Cleaning and maintaining park grounds daily
- Report all maintenance problems to the Park manager
- Handling set-up and tear-down of umbrellas, chairs, and cabanas
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times
- Special event set-up and cleaning
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Palm Beach rules, amenities, and events as well as those of Moody Gardens
- Emptying and removal of all refuge containers periodically throughout the day
- Keep rental booth apprised of umbrella and chair inventory available for rent
- Any other duties as assigned; duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
- CPR Certification preferred
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Ability to stand the majority of shift
- Ability to work outside under the sun
