MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees residential operations in Houston, corporate admissions and IT department and related vendors. Works closely with business development, admissions and clinical leaders to ensure an effective communication and coordination of admissions, authorizations and discharges.
- Directly supervises Director of Operations position.
- Ensure compliance with approved Board and organizational policies as well as legislative regulations and CARF standards.
- Communicates routinely with the CEO concerning policy recommendations and suggested courses of action pertinent to the efficient operation of assigned departments.
- Recommends improvement of facilities in assigned areas, including construction or renovation of structures, and purchase of new equipment.
- Advises and makes recommendations to the CEO concerning operational efficiencies and assists facility and department leaders in establishing measures of performance, increased productivity, continuous quality improvement, financial stewardship, and ensures appropriate and efficient utilization of our facilities and resources.
- Works closely with senior leadership to facilitate adequate training, technological needs, and efficiency in program operations for current and improved processes.
- Lead facilities management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct company programs and activities in conjunction with the company’s operational budget

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and management skills with ability to organize and prioritize their work as well as effective delegation of duties.
- Analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows.
- Knowledge of developing instructional and procedural documentation.
- High level of competence with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Able to establish effective working relationships with referral sources, clinicians, clients and other business representatives.
- Ability to build and support cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of health care operations, HIPAA regulations, THHSC Assisted Living Facility regulations and CARF standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision and direction.
Education:
Masters Degree in Business and/or Health Care Administration, or related field required.
Experience:
Five years experience in healthcare administration.
