The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring smooth operations at the front of the house. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize the dining experience.
• Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and seating charts effectively.
• Provide support during busy periods, helping to create an efficient workflow.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
