WAIT STAFF/SERVER
Wait Staff are responsible for providing the highest quality of service to all our guests. Servers must take meal orders and deliver food as well as have a working knowledge of the menu to answer all questions guests may have. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and striving for the highest of standards to provide each member and guest with a memorable experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Meet and greet members and guests with a professional attitude and appearance.
- Take food and beverage orders using suggestive upselling techniques.
- Have complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation.
- Serve food & beverage orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
- Clear tables during service.
- Control guest checks and secure proper payment.
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
- Provide exceptional service.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one-year experience as a server for a high-end restaurant/resort/private club.
- Must have two years Food & Beverage experience, preferably with 6 months’ experience in a high-end resort/ hospitality environment.
- Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling.
- Possess basic math skills and can handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Must comply with Moonlight Basin's Dress and Grooming policies.
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
