SPORTING CLAYS INSTRUCTOR:
The sporting clays instructor is responsible for providing high quality, positive, and safe shooting experiences for all participants.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversee members as they use the range for self-guided sporting clays
- Safely operate firearms
- Provide personalized shooting instruction for members and guests
- Safely operate XUVs on and off road
- Facilitate member events
- Check members in for lessons
- Maintain range facilities
- Restock clay launchers
- Wash and fuel XUVs daily
- Other duties assigned
COMPETENCIES & KEYS TO SUCCESS:

- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience instructing outdoor activities.
- Experience with customer service.
- NSCA Recreational Instructor or similar certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is 10% in-office and 90% in the field. The typical day starts at 8:45am and ends at 6:15pm. Condition in the field are typical to those found in a summer mountain environment, working outdoors, exposed to the weather, and working in the snow, mud, dust, rain, hot or cold temperatures, with uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces.
When in the office the work environment is characterized as that found in a typical office environment, with moderate temperatures and noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
