Now hiring Gerawan employees / Ahora estamos contratando empleados de Gerawan.Job SummaryResponsible for the overall handling of final product ensuring all product leaves the plant, correctly placed in pallets, trays or boxes in compliance with customer specifications.Responsibilities and DutiesPerforms all product handling activities in the palletizing department such as stacking and countingVerifies product and product appearance, is within specified parametersEnsures trays, pallets and / or boxes are within standardsVerifies equipment is in good working condition; communicates to management any deficiencies notedPerforms visual inspection of product ensuring quality is acceptableKeeps work area clean. Perform cleaning of area assigned.Provides repackaging and reworking product as directed by supervisorFollows all food safety principles and legal requirementsWorks in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.Other duties, as assignedQualifications and SkillsBasic math skillsAble to work flexible schedule and weekendsAble to stand for long period of timeAble to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shiftBenefits and PerksHealth InsurancePay Range ($16.00 min - $16.25 max) / hour)This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above.
