Job Summary
As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our compliance function. You’ll oversee regulatory adherence, establish monitoring frameworks, and define best practices for risk mitigation. This role involves guiding the compliance team, ensuring that tooling (SEON, Chainalysis) is effectively utilized, and keeping the company ahead of evolving regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee compliance policies aligned with industry regulations.
- Set monitoring standards and rules for compliance tooling (SEON, Chainalysis).
- Ensure ongoing regulatory adherence and provide strategic compliance guidance.
- Lead risk assessments and identify gaps in existing compliance frameworks.
- Work cross-functionally with legal, product, and risk teams to embed compliance into company operations.
- Keep up-to-date with evolving regulations and ensure the company is proactive in meeting requirements.
- Manage and mentor compliance analysts, ensuring effective implementation of compliance protocols.
Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience in a compliance leadership role, preferably in sports betting, online casinos, or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of AML, fraud prevention, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience implementing and optimizing compliance tools (SEON, Chainalysis).
- Exceptional analytical skills. Ability to assess risk and define effective monitoring strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management. Comfortable working with internal leadership.
- Ability to develop policies from scratch and create scalable compliance processes.
