Our Guides are like personal trainers for the mind. They get to know our Risers (kids 5 to 12 years old), guide their learning, and help them work through projects and challenges. The most important role of a Guide is to engage with our Risers and get to know them as unique individuals.

We're Looking For a Knitting Guide Who

• Gains energy working with kids.
• Is warm, positive, energetic, and friendly.
• Has deep expertise knitting different types of apparel.
• Strong preference for experience teaching children knitting.
• Has or will develop a knitting course curriculum.
• Prefers hands-on teaching and learning to tests and lectures.
• Is professional, responsible, and timely.
• Comfortable communicating with parents.
• Wants to contribute to a greater purpose and mission.
• Takes kids seriously.
  
  

About The Job

• You will lead and co-create our knitting experience for different age ranges (eg, 5-7, 8-10, 11-12 years olds).
• Location: Decatur, GA. Must be local to the area.
• Initially 1-2 days per week, 3 hours per day.
• Timing is flexible – let us know what works best for you.
• Pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
• Opportunity to increase time commitment and compensation with strong performance.
• Strong preference for applicants who have prior experience working with kids.
