We're seeking an Art Guide for a part-time role at Moonrise. Learning Guides are like personal trainers for the mind. They get to know our Risers (kids 5 to 12 years old), guide their learning, and help them work through projects and challenges. The most important role of a Guide is to engage with our Risers and get to know them as unique individuals.

We're Looking For An Art Guide Who

• Gains energy working with kids.
• Is warm, positive, energetic, and friendly.
• Has deep expertise in creative arts like drawing, painting, theater, and dance.
• Has experience teaching others artistic skills.
• Has or will develop art course content.
• Prefers hands-on teaching and learning to tests and lectures.
• Is professional, responsible, and timely.
• Has experience communicating with parents.
• Wants to contribute to a greater purpose and mission.
• Takes kids seriously.
  
  

Expect to lead and co-create artistic experiences for Risers in addition to experiences like walks to the park, games, and other types of creative play.

About The Job

• Location: Decatur, GA. Must be local to the area.
• Min of 20 hours/week.
• Moonrise is open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
• Guides start at $20/hour.
• Compensation can vary based on experience.
