Moore Advanced Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to fill the role of Driver Helper. This position involves working closely with Route Drivers in collecting waste and recyclable materials, ensuring timely completion of tasks while maintaining a safe work environment.
">">- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Route Drivers in manual or mechanical loading and emptying of residential and commercial containers into trucks;
- Operate hoisting devices to lift and empty bins or containers into truck hoppers;
- Communicate effectively with Dispatch and Route Managers regarding service interruptions and customer requests;
- Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Managers or Dispatch, and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
- Qualifications:
- Must have less than 1 year of previous experience in the field;
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Legally eligible to work in the United States;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment;
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Work Environment:
- Required to exert physical effort in handling objects more than 25 pounds frequently;
- Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 70 lbs;
- Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or riding in a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
