Moore & Giles – a luxury leather company, based in Lynchburg, Virginia since 1933 – is seeking an Account Manager- Inside Sales Representative to join our Customer Care Team.
Position Summary: Represents the company in a professional and responsive manner while performing diversified duties as Account Manager and Inside Sales Representative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as lead service resource for large-scale manufacturing, hospitality and residential design clients.
- Partner with leadership to refine and document account manager SOP’s.
- Deliver above-and-beyond service with every interaction - phone, email and live chat.
- Partner with internal and independent sales reps to assist with lead conversion and create a seamless service experience across all customer touch points.
- Accurately respond to customer inquiries regarding inventory availability, pricing, alternates, status of orders, tracking information, etc.
- Craft responses that are thoughtful, comprehensive and anticipate next needs.
- Proactively communicate to identify possible issues behind-the-scenes and resolve before they become customer impacting.
- Educate customers on our products and advise on appropriate solutions for their needs.
- Maximize opportunities to grow our business and question what we can do better.
- Assume responsibility of inside sales representative for select accounts/divisions in unrepresented territories.
- Initiate a quality/customer satisfaction phone call or email after a customer receives an order.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to help produce content that highlights specific articles and projects.
- Assist with new account acquisition; find potential leads through Material Bank, Instagram, and other social platforms. Make initial contact and track new account sampling.
- Review customer list to help identify previous customers who have not recently ordered. Help implement strategy to connect with those customers by email, phone, or social media.
- Help to qualify leads generated from varies shows and events.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of account management and/or sales experience
- College degree preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced in MS Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of Sales Logix Contact Management systems; Netsuite, Inventory and Order processing systems, etc.
