The Lean Manufacturing Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and profitability through the implementation of continuous improvement systems. The specialist will lead various projects, coach teams on Lean methodologies, and support the deployment of the company's Lean Management System.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects related to continuous improvement opportunities.
- Lead/support kaizen events.
- Coach/train on Lean tools and techniques.
- Lead the deployment of the Lean Management System including 5S and Standard Work.
- Help deploy and mature the Daily Management System with relevant metrics.
- Coach/guide through 5-minute kaizens and structured A3 problem-solving.
- Deploy/utilize remaining subsystems to solve systemic problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Desired experience in Lean Manufacturing Principles and Systems.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt (desirable).
- Ability to occasionally lift 10-20 pounds.
