Job Overview:
The Salesperson/Estimator will play a crucial role in driving new business and accurately estimating project costs for residential renovation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with potential clients, understanding their needs, developing detailed estimates, and managing client relationships throughout the sales and project cycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Proactively identify and pursue new leads through networking, referrals, and company-provided sources.
- Client Meetings: Meet with potential clients to discuss their renovation needs, gather project details, and establish rapport.
- Project Estimation: Accurately estimate the cost, materials, labor, and time required for construction projects based on client specifications and industry standards.
- Proposal Preparation: Create and present detailed project proposals and quotes to clients, clearly outlining project scope, timelines, and costs.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring their questions are answered, and expectations are managed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
- Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts, ensuring terms are mutually agreeable and meet company standards.
- CRM: Using the CRM to nurture relationships
Qualifications & Competencies
- Proven experience in sales and estimating within the construction or home renovation industry.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
- 5% Commission of all jobs converted
- $30,000 Base Salary

Reporting Structure:
- Reports are to be emailed
- Weekly reports are required
