This is an on-site position at our office in Lanham, MD.

Key Responsibilities :

Tax Expertise : Research and respond to sales / use tax queries from internal and external customers.
Certificate Management : Review, approve, and maintain client resale and exemption certificates.
System Coordination : Ensure accurate tax calculations by coordinating with system developers.
Legislative Monitoring : Keep an eye on tax legislation changes and drive their implementation.
Business Advisory : Advise internal leaders on tax implications of new business initiatives.
Financial Support : Review and analyze tax returns, accruals, and payments, and support financial statement processes.

What We're Looking For :

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with lookups and pivot tables.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to remain poised and professional under pressure.

At least 5 years of accounting and corporate sales / use tax experience.

Familiarity with Thompson Reuters OneSource or other sales tax software.

Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

Availability to commute to our Lanham, MD office 5 days / week.
