Primary Purpose:
We are seeking current University Students for a paid Internship.
Successful candidate Reports to the Estimating Department, works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assist in managing the bid and procurement process.
Responsible for maintaining bid calendars and action item list.
Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes and other administrative tasks as required.
Communicate with clients, suppliers and construction team members.
Respond to queries raised and request for information.
Manage email correspondence, prepare and type reports, emails, and other documents using Microsoft Office or other relevant computer software.
Use a systematic approach to day to day tasks and ensure various appointments and meetings are leveraged.
Provide follow-up phone calls and routes phone calls to the appropriate person.
Site Walk Coordination – effectively manage scheduling site visits with subcontractors.
Preparations and delivery of bid proposals.
Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
Current University Student enrolled in Construction Management (Preferred) or related Major
Available at least 30 hours M-F between 7am and 5pm
Strong communication and time management skills
Proficient in managing office technology and confidential record keeping
