The Site Safety Coordinator will report directly to the Corporate Safety Manager and have responsibility to be the first line of safety at all client facilities. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
To ensure all safety requirements and objectives are met for each job.
Responsible for all HSE site support for all company organizations and internal clients such as project managers, maintenance managers, service managers, construction personnel and subcontractors to Moore Industries.
Responsible of following proper injury management protocols and notifications
Conduct daily site visits, safety meetings, toolbox talks, safety stand downs and safety sharings.
Conduct observations and reporting requirements according to company and client requirements.
Meet with the Corporate Safety Manager to review safety metrics on a regular basis, perform verification & validations for job observations, job system analysis (JSA), job loss analysis (JLA) compliancy and accuracy, hazard ID recognition, root cause analysis for losses, near losses and incidents.
Check personnel training records for training compliance, i.e. OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ACGIH, site specific training etc.
Work with the and Corporate Safety Manager to identify training improvements for internal personnel and subcontractors.
Support efforts to promote teamwork, continuity and continuous improvements to the safety organization.
Qualifications And Requirements
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:
Minimum Of 5 Years Full Time Experience In Safety
Must demonstrate leadership capabilities and capacity to change organizational culture as it relates to HSE. Must be able to obtain commitment and foster actions from the field level employees.
Demonstrates effective communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects
Have strong training and interpersonal skills
Must have good communication skills in dealing with managers, clients, and field personnel
Must be customer oriented (internal and external).
Must have computer competency with Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn client systems as required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Must possess a valid TWIC
Willing to travel
Educational Requirements:
Must have completed OSHA 10, and 30, or equivalent training courses.
Credentials such as CHST, OHST, STSC, CSHO, SMS, ASP, CSP, etc. are considered a plus
Previous experience in Industrial Hygiene is considered a plus.
Associate degree or higher in safety technology preferred
