DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program

Responsibilities
- Installation of complete plumbing systems in residential and light commercial applications
- Demonstrate motivation and flexibility to adeptly handle responsibilities on both commercial and residential job sites.
- Utilize a wealth of experience in overseeing crews of 2-10 plumbers, providing effective leadership and guidance.
- Maintain a valid plumbing license to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Attend weekly job meetings and coordinate with the General Contractor's on-site Supervisor during project duration.
- Ensure work compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate work logs, including job sites, time, equipment, materials, and recommendations for follow-up.
- Work with minimal supervision, applying skills and independent decision-making to deliver superior quality work for the customer.
- Demonstrate the ability and willingness to train and mentor apprentices.
Requirements
- Possess a Journeyman or Master Plumbing License in MI
- 3 years of Lead Plumber experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs., climbing up and down ladders, and flexible enough to fit into tight places
- Skilled at using power and hand tools.
- Excellent and effective communication skills (oral and written)
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
