Purchaser

As our Purchaser, you'll be an integral member of our Purchasing Department, playing a vital role that will evolve as our department grows. From handling in-store sales to managing inventory and supporting our techs, your day-to-day will be as varied as it is rewarding. You'll help keep our operations smooth and our customers happy. In addition, as a new office location, you will support in some administrative duties.

Requirements

• Purchase orders: issuing and reconciling
• Work closely with vendors to ensure receipt and delivery dates
• Coordinate delivery of materials
• Develop an active process for tracking lead times and delivery of materials
• Forecast material delivery through the end of the month
• Process returns for material
• Build and maintain vendor relationships
• Negotiate pricing with vendors to achieve the best pricing possible
• Resolve supplier issues
• Assist with the continuous improvement efforts within the purchasing team and cross functional teams
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Customer service and call management
• Assistance with technician communication and dispatch scheduling
• Work order preparation and delivery
• Office communication and document management
• Accounts receivable support and bill entry
• General assistance to colleagues and additional administrative tasks
