Moore RMGis currently seeking a detail-orientedData Entry Clerkto join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering data into the computer system from various source documents.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team environment and play a crucial role in maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities : Prepare and sort source documents, identifying and interpreting data to be entered.Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following the format displayed on the screen and entering necessary codes.Compare data entered with source documents and verify accuracy, making necessary corrections as needed.Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data to be entered.Perform basic mathematical functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as required.Utilize basic problem-solving skills to address data entry discrepancies.Maintain a clean and organized workstation.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient data entry processes.
Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in data entry or related field preferred.Proficiency in typing and data entry skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Ability to problem-solve and identify discrepancies in data entry.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Comfortable working with computers and data entry software.Ability to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.Must be able to sit and use hands and fingers for keying and writing purposes.Close vision required for working with data on the computer screen.
Work Environment : Daily work in an office environment with occasional time spent in operational departments.Moderate noise level in the work environment.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
