- Greeting customers upon arrival
- Maintaining a fast speed of service, especially during rush times
- Taking orders from customers and input their selections into the restaurant’s Point of Sale system
- Assembling orders on trays or in bags depending on the type of order
- Processing large orders for events
- Taking orders with accuracy
- Answering questions the customers might have
- Responding to guest questions, concerns and complaints and make sure they leave satisfied
- Following all restaurant safety and security procedures
- Following recipes accurately and maintaining food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, dicing, cutting, and slicing vegetables
- Completing hot and cold food preparation assignment accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion
