Job Description :
The BAS Estimator is responsible for capturing labor and material costs to complete automation system estimates for both our commercial customers. This role is the foundation for the success of the BAS Department to capture the correct amount of profitable work by providing customers with the most accurate project cost as possible.
Responsibilities :
- Developing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for various construction projects.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
- Evaluating and adjusting estimates to ensure they align with project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Participating in the tender process, including the preparation of detailed proposals and bid packages.
- Providing strategic recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and project performance.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market conditions to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
- Implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential project cost overruns.
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure the best deals.
