HVAC Project Manager

Job Title: Senior HVAC Installation Specialist - Commercial Construction

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Projects Division as an HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman for projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems on commercial construction projects, including duct work, roof top units, VAV boxes, etc. You will also be responsible for onsite leadership, safety, accountability, support, and training of your crew.

Responsibilities:

• Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
• You must consistently and regularly plan the installation in strict conformance with contract requirements and in accordance with company procedures.
• Providing a safe job site for yourself and your crew is crucial.
• You must be able to manage coordinated and pre-fabricated projects.
• Ability to think on your feet and make decisions is necessary.
• Managing multiple jobs simultaneously requires strong organizational skills.
• Stress management and ability to handle pressure are essential qualities for this position.
• As a training supervisor and mentor, you will be responsible for developing and training your team.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of HVAC project leadership experience is necessary.
• Journeyman or Master card is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore experience, are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities are essential.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are necessary.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols is crucial.
