What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Administrator position at Moore's Electrical & Mechanical?
Job Summary: The Parts Administrator serves as an essential position for supporting the Commercial Service Division. This role is responsible for ordering, tracking, scheduling and receiving parts while communicating with all parties in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Track all warranty parts and follow through with the steps needed to receive appropriate credit.
- Input and update all previous day purchase orders using the daily report.
- Provide backup support for the parts ordering role during times of high volume or planned absences.
- Orders parts for all approved quoted work with the vendor the Estimator priced.
- Order parts for all technicians on unquoted work upon request from the Technician.
- Receive all parts shipped to the Altavista office coordinating with Tool & Equipment as needed.
- Communicate parts receival to all parties involved while update the work order as "parts arrived".
- Follow up with vendors on incorrect or incomplete orders.
- Correct any shipments to the wrong location with the vendor.
- Work with Technicians, Tools & Equipment, etc. to return any items shipped incorrectly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Self-motivated with strong organizational & time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Must be detailed oriented and have great communication skills
- Possesses the drive to continuing to learn so knowledge & skills can grow
- Strong people skills along with negotiating and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft software.
