Job Title: Plumbing / Piping Apprentice - Commercial Construction
Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Plumbing/Piping Apprentice for projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn learn and develop your skills in the Plumbing and/or Piping trade while providing high-quality installs to our commercial clients. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced mechanics and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in commercial Plumbing and Piping systems and the installation process involved with new construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced Plumbing or Piping Mechanics in installing systems in commercial buildings.
- Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
- Gather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use hands to control tools
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Ability to work in cramped and awkward spaces at times
- Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational school or prior training preferred.
- Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts.
- Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
