We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, managing conflicts, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations as required.
Qualifications
- Certification in conflict management is preferred.
- Experience in loss prevention or surveillance is an asset.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and law enforcement procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must possess CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it upon hiring.
- Previous experience in a security role or military background is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
