As the Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of direct mail/digital marketing and fundraising strategies for our various nonprofit clients. You will participate in creating and implementing campaigns to acquire, cultivate, and solicit donors. You will also ensure the effective and efficient workflow of multiple client projects through account team collaboration, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of client campaigns.
This is a hybrid position out of our Lanham, MD office.

Your Impact:
- Initiate and complete the required day-to-day responsibilities necessary efficiently support assigned client account(s) ensuring attention to the detailed requirements of the account and meeting commitments as required.
- Oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of all assigned client projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time.
- Work with team to develop and maintain detailed project timelines and schedules for clients for assigned direct mail and digital accounts.
- Facilitate the overall creative and production process- including initiation, scheduling, status updates, and approval process.
- Manage and monitor changes in scope, prioritization, and schedules, and implement new or modified schedules in response.
- Manage creative and budget approval process ensuring that all required team members have reviewed and approved projects continuously throughout the project life cycle.
- Perform data entry of client fundraising costs and segmentation, keeping client information up to date.
- Assist with weekly internal status updates for the client.
- Help to coordinate activities of off-site agencies, database suppliers, list brokers, and vendors
- Serve as a backup point of contact for issues or activities for clients as assigned.
- Conduct research on behalf of client mission and new outreach campaigns.
- Will research and report on industry trends that can be used in forecasting future direct-marketing needs.
- 1-2 years of experience in a nonprofit or agency environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent from accredited college or university.
- Project management/ project management software experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team environment to meet client fundraising goals.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills are vital to success in this position.
- In-depth understanding of process, workflow, and project management best practices.
- Ability to handle multiple projects; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative to learn direct response marketing and the assigned client account details.
- Ability to adapt to change and prioritize constantly shifting opportunities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and basic understanding of analytics.
- Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions.

Salary : $55,000 - $58,500
