What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Strategy and Creative position at Moore?
As the Director, Strategy and Creative, you will play a key role in shaping and executing innovative campaigns for nonprofit clients. This role will collaborate closely with the Vice President, Client Success to develop compelling creative strategies as part of the RFP process of fundraising and awareness programs. They will oversee the seamless implementation of winning campaign proposals and use creative and organizational skills to bring them to life. Our clients include nonprofits, government, and commercial clients. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conceptualizing, planning, and implementing integrated marketing campaigns which can include advertising campaigns, digital activations, special events, and experiential marketing. The Director, Strategy and Creative will work with a team of in-house and contract staff to ensure that client work is completed on time and within budget. A successful Director will be creative and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills, as well as good client interface abilities. This is a full-time position at 1st Degree and an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead, guide and direct the future of our client campaigns.

Your Impact:
- Leads the development of creative strategies and campaign concepts during the RFP process and in client proposals.
- Works with the sales team and leadership to research, create strategy for and implement integrated marketing campaigns and maps out tasks needed to implement those strategies.
- Translates winning pitches into fully executable marketing and communications strategies that align with client objectives, ensuring that all creative solutions are insight-driven, results-oriented, and innovative.
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, vendors, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns as well as industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in nonprofit marketing.
- Communicates effectively with excellent writing skills across multiple writing styles, including emails, proposals, statements of work, document editing and briefs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience in an agency setting, managing marketing and advertising. Experience working with a non-profit organization will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Proven experience developing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional media.
- Knowledge and background in full suite of marketing tactics to include digital, advertising creation and placement, creative development.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives that drive action.
- Strong understanding of the principles of fundraising and communications for nonprofits.
- Must have experience working with shared project management software, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Workfront, and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Calendar, Word, PPT, Excel) and experience creating presentation decks using Google Slides, Canva or PowerPoint required.
- Some travel may be required.

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
