What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Moore?
As the Print Estimator your primary responsibility is to develop cost estimates on routine and complex jobs as required by customer’s request, to assist Sales/Purchasing/Management in the manufacturing of our clients’ print work.

Your Impact:
- Estimates labor and material cost of printing based on specifications outlined on sales order or submitted by prospective client. Examines specifications, sketches, and sample layouts, and calculate unit and production costs, using labor and material pricing software and schedules and considering factors such paper stock requirements, number and units of colors and quality of finished product, to determine cost effective and competitive price.
- Confer with department heads to develop or confirm information regarding various cost elements.
- Estimate cost of mailing finished printed product
- Maintain estimating standard procedure.
- Utilize estimating software to provide quotes to Customer Service Representatives.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree or three years of equivalent print estimating experience
- Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- ePS iQuote or similar estimating workflow experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight time constraints to meet deadlines.
- This position is one that is representative of a normal office environment. It is sedentary in nature that requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, speaking.
- Hours of work are varied as required to complete the jobs on time.

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
