Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Onsite – New Jersey
Contract: 6 Months
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing data structures to reduce redundancy and improve data movement between systems. This role requires expertise in extracting, interpreting, and deriving insights from data using statistical and machine learning methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience in similar technology (excluding training period)
- Minimum 5 years of on-site client experience in similar technology and domain
- Bachelor’s degree in technology; Master’s preferred
- 9 years of experience as a Data Architect, DBA, and in database performance optimization
- 4 years of experience in data replication and data availability
- 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL and AWS
Responsibilities:
- Administer, manage, and monitor all database systems across development, test, stage, and production environments
- Design and implement PostgreSQL databases with high-availability solutions, replication, encryption, and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure efficient data architecture, performance optimization, and security compliance
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL in AWS environments to enhance data reliability and accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data standards, policies, and governance practices
