Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases, from intake through settlement.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents (demands, distribution sheets, etc.).
- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters.
- Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, bills, and evidence.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings on liability, damages, and procedural requirements.
- Monitor deadlines, court dates, and compliance with litigation timelines.
- Associate degree or paralegal certificate (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury law.
- Proficiency in legal software (Clio, ProLaw, MyCase) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures, medical terminology, and legal documentation.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication and client interaction skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English).
- Experience managing pre-litigation and litigation cases.
