As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you are highly skilled at discovering customers’ needs, and are adept at assisting customers find a vehicle that meets those needs by using a broad range of skills including the current technology, a vast knowledge of the product, and a working knowledge of the inventory. You are knowledgeable of the vehicle features in the Ford lineup as well as competitive models, and can demonstrate these features to customers.
Customer service skills are essential in todays market. Good communication skills are essential and computer skills are helpful.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrating vehicles to customers, including test drives and explaining features
- Providing a 5 Star Experience throughout the sales process
- Following up with potential leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Collaborating with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Utilizing strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
- Ready to waste no time on learning new product in’s and out’s, eager to improve
- Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
