Tree Trimmer/Saw Man

As a Tree Trimmer/Saw Man it is your responsibility to trim hazard limbs/debris.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and ensure that safety is always the highest priority.
• Participate in all required safety training.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers or falling objects.
• Have appropriate clothing, work boots and PPE while on the job site.
• Read job plans to ensure a thorough knowledge of the job at hand.

Skills

• Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours or performing strenuous work outside.
• Basic math skills needed to perform calculations while measuring on job sites and helping surveying crews.
• Willingness to learn, as you will need to be able to acquire new skills quickly on the job as new tools, equipment and techniques are introduced.
