Moorhead Brothers, Inc. is looking for a welder/fabricator to join our team. Experience is required.
Job duties:
- Welding on a variety of projects including but not limited to: welding, cutting, joining and fabricating
- Fabricate metal parts using various welding methods including welding and torch cutting and plasma cutting
- Perform all duties in a safe manner at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications to determine the layout and assembly of metal components
- Weld and fit metal components using various welding techniques, such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to ensure accurate dimensions
- Cut and shape metal using tools such as plasma cutters and torch
- Assemble fabricated metal parts to create finished products
- Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs or adjustments
