What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Executive Director position at Moorings Park?
Moorings Park is looking for an Associate Executive Director of our Grande Lake location. The Associate Executive Director functions as the strategic business leader of community operations for Campus Life, Resident Services and will work closely with Assisted Living Administration. This position supports residents’ needs, monitors satisfaction levels, and develops positive relations. In this role, the Associate Executive Director will provide management and oversight, always demonstrating a commitment to excellence. This leader will traverse all venues of community operations and administration and is expected to collaborate often with all senior leadership in order to meet the company’s objectives. Accordingly, this position is considered the primary conduit to independent living residents, and the chief problem-solver for all matters of resident concern.
Contributions :
- Facilitate integration and coordination of wellness & successful aging programs, campus life, and resident advocacy functions throughout campus independent living. Provide functional programs for independent living residents that promote all aspects of wellness and successful aging.
- Work with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies and manage the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
- Work closely with other departments, establishing reciprocal communication and a continuum of related services.
- Provide leadership and oversight to Moorings Park’s multiple dining venues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Liaison with and manage dining contractual agreements with out-sourced companies.
- Provide leadership and oversight to all administrative front desk operations in independent living.
- Develop and implement a highly informative welcoming and orientation programming for new residents.
- Chair the independent living Life Care Committee, staying abreast of all at-risk IL residents. Work closely with Directors of all facilities for transitioning residents to a more supportive environment when necessary.
- Acquire baseline information on independent living resident satisfaction. Establish a tracking system that documents quarterly and annual measurements of effectiveness.
- Drive resident satisfaction using adopted experience management programs, tools and systems. Lead community efforts in elevating satisfaction in all venues as well as establishing improvement processes.
- Act as predominant author for all community and corporate wide communication to residents and staff, including memorandum, letters, policies and procedures and handbooks.
- Grow revenues and maximize the financial performance of those departments reporting to this position.
- Develop and promote independent living resident support programs that foster independence, dignity and participation.
- Liaison directly with and guide resident committees; specifically, wellness, campus life, dining and welcoming.
