Job Description

Job Title : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Job Specialty : Multi Modality Imaging Technologist

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 2nd Shift, 5x8 Hr

Guaranteed Hours : 40.00

Experience : One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred. Additional 1-2 years of college / university coursework and / or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.

License : State license as a Radiographer

Certifications :

ARRT registered
Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire / transfer
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent is required

Must-Have : CT experience

Job Description :

Under the direction of a radiologist and / or other providers, prepare patients, perform imaging procedures, and operate imaging equipment.

Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.

Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support organizational excellence initiatives.

Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.

Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.

Work in two or more of the following modalities and meet the requirements of advanced certification : Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.

Other duties as assigned.
