Technical Specialist - Epic CertifiedPosition Overview:
We are seeking a Technical Specialist with Epic certification to build and support the following EpicCare Inpatient modules: Clinical Documentation (including Secure Chat & Rover), Clinical Case Management, and Behavioral Health. The Technical Specialist will serve as the primary build and support contact for these Epic modules, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary support contact for end-users of the Epic application.
- Develop, configure, script, test, and support EpicCare Inpatient modules.
- Build solutions using programming expertise to maintain, modify, or develop complex inter-related applications.
- Assess hardware and software requirements to ensure compatibility.
- Identify and troubleshoot application issues, working toward timely resolution.
- Guide workflow design, system build, and testing, and analyze technical concerns associated with Epic software.
- Implement requested system changes efficiently.
- Serve as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and participate in weekly project meetings.
- Gain an understanding of operational needs through site visits and integrated sessions.
- Provide leadership with regular project status updates and issue resolutions.
- Facilitate weekly team discussions to review deliverables, concerns, budgets, and milestones.
Required Qualifications:
- Epic Certification in one or more of the required modules: EpicCare Inpatient - Clinical Documentation, Secure Chat & Rover, Clinical Case Management, or Behavioral Health.
- Strong understanding of Epic application functionality, workflows, and build requirements.
- Proven experience in Epic Application Coordination/Analysis roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with system configuration, testing, and support in an Epic environment.
- Experience working within healthcare IT systems is a plus.
